Introduction
Welcome to Junglepedia ("the Service"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of junglepedia.lol and any related pages or APIs operated under the Junglepedia or Nextech name. "You" means anyone who accesses or uses the Service. "We," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of Junglepedia. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
About the Operator
Junglepedia is operated by an individual hobbyist developer under the Nextech name. Nextech is the overarching hub project; Junglepedia is its League of Legends jungle analytics arm. The Service is free and non-commercial, and there is no registered legal entity behind the Junglepedia or Nextech names.
Riot Games Disclaimer
Junglepedia isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. League of Legends © Riot Games, Inc. The Service retrieves game data only through Riot's official APIs and operates under Riot's published developer policies.
Acceptable Use
To keep the Service working for everyone, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically extract data from the Service. Scraping is not condoned under any circumstances. If you have a legitimate analytics or research need, please reach out - don't scrape.
- Automate requests in any way that bypasses our rate limits, caching, or normal browsing behavior.
- Attempt to bypass, defeat, or interfere with the Service's authentication, authorization, or security mechanisms.
- Use the Service to harass, dox, or otherwise harm any player whose data appears on the site.
- Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the Service's aggregated data without prior written permission.
- Use the Service in any way that violates Riot Games' Terms of Service, Riot's API developer policies, or applicable law.
We reserve the right to block any IP address, network range, or account that we believe is misusing the Service for personal or commercial gain, abusing rate limits, or otherwise acting in bad faith - at our sole discretion and without notice.
Account and Authentication
Where the Service offers account features, login is handled through Riot Sign-On (RSO). When you authenticate via RSO, we receive only your PUUID, game name, tag line, and profile icon from Riot - we never receive your Riot password. You can revoke RSO authorization at any time through your Riot account settings, and you can request deletion of your Junglepedia data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
League of Legends, its champions, art, names, logos, and related assets are the intellectual property of Riot Games, Inc. and remain so. Junglepedia's analytics, written copy, layout, and source code are owned by the operator. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties including the Riot Games API, hosting providers, and analytics tools. A complete list and what each one does with your data is available in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. Statistics and analytics depend on the availability and correctness of the Riot API, and may be delayed, incomplete, or out of date. Nothing on the Service is professional advice - coaching, betting, or otherwise.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Junglepedia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, total aggregate liability to you is capped at zero U.S. dollars ($0.00).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator of Junglepedia from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are misusing the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may request deletion of your data through the process described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington, USA, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Children
Junglepedia is not directed at children under 13. By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where reasonable, surface a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
