Introduction
Junglepedia provides jungle analytics for League of Legends players. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, our legal basis for processing, and your rights under GDPR and similar regulations.
Data We Collect
We collect the following types of data:
- Riot Games Data (Personal Data): Player identifiers (PUUID, Riot ID including gameName and tagLine), match history, gameplay statistics (clear times, item builds, objective control, etc.), and rank information retrieved via the official Riot Games API. Under GDPR, Riot IDs and PUUIDs are considered personal data as they uniquely identify players.
- Cookies: We use cookies to remember your language preference and maintain session state. No tracking cookies are used.
- Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes page views, device type, and general geographic region. No personal identifiers are collected.
- Error Tracking: We use Sentry to track errors and improve site reliability. Error reports may include browser information and the actions that led to the error. API keys and sensitive data are sanitized before transmission.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR Article 6, we process personal data based on:
- Legitimate Interest: Legitimate Interest (Article 6(1)(f)): We have a legitimate interest in providing analytics based on publicly available gameplay data from the Riot Games API. This data is already public through Riot's own services, and we provide additional value by aggregating and analyzing it for the gaming community.
- Consent: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): For optional features like analytics cookies, we rely on your consent which you can withdraw at any time.

Data Retention
Gameplay data is retained until you request deletion or Riot Games processes a Right to Be Forgotten (RTBF) request for your account. Analytics data is retained for 30 days. Error logs are retained for 30 days. Upon termination of our Riot API access, all gameplay data will be deleted.
Data Deletion (Right to Be Forgotten)
You have the right to request deletion of your data. Because we cannot verify Riot account ownership without Riot Sign-On, we honor deletion requests through Riot's official RTBF mechanism:
- Submit a Right to Be Forgotten request directly to Riot Games through your Riot account settings or by contacting Riot Support.
- Riot will process your request and signal it to all API developers (including us) by renaming your account.
- Our automated systems detect this signal and permanently delete all data associated with your PUUID from our database within 30 days.
Alternatively, you can email privacy@junglepedia.lol with your Riot ID, and we will guide you through the process or manually remove your data upon verification.
Deletion includes: all match history, statistics, rankings, and any other data tied to your player identifier.
